Scholarships

Cost shouldn’t close the door.

MAJOR’s services have real costs — and real value. When grant, donor, or sponsor funding is available, scholarships can reduce or fully cover those costs for eligible participants.

Cuando hay fondos disponibles, una beca puede cubrir parte o la totalidad del costo.

Current availability

Partial scholarships open for MAJOR Business and MAJOR Money services. Career scholarships: waitlist.

How scholarships work

Dignified. Transparent. Funding-dependent.

  • Funded by others so you can go further. Grants, donors, and sponsors underwrite scholarships — your award is someone investing in your outcome.
  • Partial or full. An award may cover a portion of a membership or service, or all of it, based on eligibility and available funds.
  • Same service, same standard. Scholarship participants get the same advisors, tools, and professionalism as every paying member.
  • Not guaranteed. Applying is not approval — awards depend on eligibility criteria and the funding available at the time.
  • Availability moves through the year. When funding is exhausted, applications join a waitlist and reopen as new funding lands.
  • No shame in asking. The application asks about your goal and situation respectfully — it exists to open doors, not to judge.
Applying

Four steps, plain language.

01

Apply

A short form: your goal, the service you need, and your situation. EN or ES.

02

Talk

A brief conversation to confirm fit and eligibility — same intake everyone gets.

03

Decision

A clear answer within two weeks: award level, waitlist, or alternatives that fit now.

04

Begin

Awarded? You start like any member — plan first, then the work.

Funded programs

Sometimes a funder opens the door for everyone.

When a grant or sponsor backs a full program, it runs at no cost — or reduced cost — for every eligible participant while funding lasts. Current funded programs are always posted on the Workshops & Events page.

A funded seat isn’t a discount — it’s a funder betting on you. Take the seat.

Questions

Scholarship FAQ

Who is eligible?
Eligibility follows board-adopted criteria tied to each funding source — typically income, geography, or program fit. The application and intake conversation confirm it quickly.
Does applying guarantee an award?
No. Awards depend on eligibility and on funding available at the time. If funds are committed, you’ll be offered the waitlist and any alternatives that fit now.
Will anyone know I’m on scholarship?
No. Award status is confidential, and the service experience is identical either way.
Can I reapply if I’m not awarded?
Yes — availability changes through the year as new funding arrives. Waitlisted applicants are contacted first.
